GB 3836-2000 is a set of Chinese standards for electrical apparatus in explosive gas zones. It is equivalent to IEC60079, but more demanding than IEC60079. The Chinese standards keep key points of its former version on the basis of IEC60079.
The R & D of M2JA series (80-355) flameproof motors is compatible with ABB's latest manufacturing technology and Chinese standards GB 3836-2000. The series can be credited with the most advanced flameproof motors (Ex d llC) for factory application in China (temperature class T1-T4).
