The 3M Model 724 Work Station Monitor is digned to continuously monitor the operation of the wrist strap grounding systems of two operators. To accomplish this, it us a DC current source to measure a loop electrical ristance. The system us a special wrist band and ground cord; 3m Wrist Bands (2368) and Grounding Cords (2360 or 2370) that contain two independent elements. The monitor us a reliable ristance method that actually includ the operator's skin ristance to determine if the system is operating properly. If the operator's ristance exceeds pre-set levels of 10 megohms or 35 megohms, or the wiring connections exceed 3.7 megohms the red work surface lamp is lit, the green OK lamp is extinguished, and an optional alarm sounds, preventing product exposure to harmful D. The Model 724 also monitors its own connection to ground and the grounding of a work surface. Monitor operat on 120VAC and com complete with AC adapter, remote dual conductor jack (Model 732), mounting hardware, and instructions.
